Abdullahi Alim’s journey is a remarkable one; from a refugee at age five, to a finalist of the Young Australian of the Year in 2017 and recipient of the Young Leaders Award by Queen Elizabeth.
Abdullahi leads the World Economic Forum’s network of emerging young leaders and is passionate about education, cultural diversity, inclusive innovation and the importance of building safer and more resilient online communities that are less susceptible to violent extremism and other negative influences.
His keynote presentations are exceptionally motivating, with his enthusiasm and passion shining through. He speaks on his experience as someone from a refugee background and how institutions can take tangible actions around recognising talent from diverse communities. He is also passionate about ways to mobilize communities or networks of people to self-organise for impact and to address challenges common to their local contexts.
Travel and accommodation are quoted separately at cost for events outside Belgium. Virtual sessions are usually priced below the band above.
