About Cate Campbell OAM

Cate Campbell OAM has always been a force of nature.

Born in Malawi, her first strokes were taken in the vast expanse of Lake Malawi before her family relocated to Australia.

It was there, at the Indooroopilly Swimming Club, that her natural talent transformed into something extraordinary.

By just 16, Cate was already shattering Australian and Commonwealth records and standing on the Olympic podium.

Over nearly a decade, she collected an astonishing 8 Olympic medals, cementing her place as one of Australia’s swimming greats.

In 2024, Cate swapped the pool for the broadcast booth, diving into a new chapter as an Olympic commentator with the Nine Network.
