About Daniel Abbott

Daniel Abbott spent 17 years at Lendlease, rising to Group Head of Strategy and M&A. In that seat he oversaw the allocation of around A$10 billion in capital and executed more than A$5 billion in transactions across Australia, the US, Europe and Asia. At the height of the COVID crisis he led a A$1.2 billion equity raise — capital secured when the market least wanted to give it.

He now advises ASX-listed and private companies through his own firm, Etham Consulting, working on the questions he used to own: where to deploy capital, which deals actually create value, and how to lead when the plan meets reality.
