About Helen Brown

Helen Brown has more than 20 years of experience as a journalist, presenter, and producer and is highly skilled in creating a discussion that engages, entertains, and brings the audience into the conversation.

Her career has seen her creating finance bulletins for radio news and later spending four years on the ground in Indonesia as a correspondent for ABC News (Australia) where she covered international strategic and economic summits as well as stories including the Bali 9 execution and the 2014 presidential election. She continues to have strong ties to the country and the region.

Helen grew up in rural Australia where her family is still broadacre farming and she loves the chance to head home to look across the horizon and smell the gum trees.
