Paul Barry came to Australia from England in the mid-1980s. And since Alan Bond stamped on his business card, he has never looked back. Well, hardly ever.
In 2001, he was sacked from the ABC’s Media Watch, after a confrontational interview with the then-ABC-chair Donald McDonald. And in 2005, he was dumped from 60 Minutes—who had been suing him over a Media Watch story.
Before that, he gained 1st Class Honours at Oxford University, and made films for Four Corners, winning numerous awards.
Paul has worked for almost every major media group in Australia, in TV, print, radio and online. He has also written seven best-selling books, about Alan Bond, Kerry Packer, Rupert Murdoch and others. And since 2013 he’s been back at Media Watch. Where, remarkably, he’s still in the job.
Travel and accommodation are quoted separately at cost for events outside Sydney, NSW, AU. Virtual sessions are usually priced below the band above.
