About Peter Hillary

Peter Hillary grew up in a household where adventure was a way of life, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Sir Edmund Hillary.

With an impressive record of 50 mountaineering expeditions worldwide, including five on Mt. Everest and all Seven Summits, Peter became the first second-generation summiteer.

Chairing the Himalayan Trust, founded by his father, Peter has overseen the construction of 42 schools and hospitals at the base of Mt. Everest, positively impacting the lives of the local community.

Beyond his mountaineering feats, Peter has authored seven books, produced documentaries for National Geographic, and leads adventure travel expeditions, leaving an enduring impression on those he encounters.
