While many might allow a life-changing injury to hold them back from pursuing their dreams, Rhiannon Tracey has transformed hers into a powerful motivation to create a fulfilling life and inspire thousands along the way.
In 2009, a spinal cord injury dramatically altered Rhiannon’s world. After a diving accident in Bali at the age of 20, she was diagnosed as a C-5 quadriplegic and told she would never walk again.
However, Rhiannon refuses to accept limitations. She founded The Next Step Recovery & Wellness Centre, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to providing the best recovery and rehabilitation options in Australia for individuals with spinal cord injuries and other neurological disorders. Through this initiative, she empowers others to achieve their goals and educates them on what is possible.
In her 36 years, Rhiannon has accomplished more than many aspire to in a lifetime. She offers her audiences invaluable insights on inclusion, access, and disability etiquette. Having lived as an able-bodied person for 21 years, she brings a unique perspective that bridges the gap between those with and without disabilities. Rhiannon will change how you view life, just as she has for countless others.
