Sonia Di Mezza's experience spans over thirty years, working across diverse and often challenging contexts, from establishing human rights projects in Sudan and Pakistan, to resettling refugees in Lebanon for UNHCR, and rescuing child labourers from factories in India.

As a refugee lawyer, Sonia has represented asylum seekers in detention centres around Australia.

Her leadership journey includes roles as CEO of a disability advocacy NGO and a domestic violence not-for-profit.

For three years, Sonia served as CEO of Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Services, based in regional Victoria.

She is currently the CEO of the Migrant and Refugee Settlement Services (MARSS), headquartered in Canberra.
