Steve Bell

Mountaineer Steve Bell has been to the brink and back.

A serial risk-taker, he shows us what’s possible when you embrace uncertainty, how to overcome adversity by turning your face into the storm, and the importance of giving back.

Once labelled, ‘Britain’s most experienced teenage mountaineer’, Steve scaled the infamous North Face of the Eiger before he was 21. He worked for the British Antarctic Survey, served with the Royal Marines Commandos in Cyprus and Zimbabwe, and founded the UK”s first mountaineering company with whom he guided clients up all seven continental summits. An IFMGA mountain guide, Steve was one of the pioneers of the commercial expedition phenomenon.

Since moving to Australia in 2004, Steve has endured divorce, chronic illness, and crippling financial loss. Drawing on his mountaineering experiences, he has climbed above his setbacks and shares thrilling insights into how we can triumph over life’s challenges.
