About Arman Abrahimzadeh OAM

Arman Abrahimzadeh OAM is a domestic violence prevention advocate, civic leader and community builder.

Co-founder of the Zahra Foundation Australia, he has dedicated his career to raising awareness of family and domestic violence, sharing practical insights on healthy relationships and early warning signs of abuse.

Beyond advocacy, Arman is a project manager in community housing with nearly 20 years’ experience in design and construction.

Elected to the City of Adelaide Council in 2018 and serving as Deputy Lord Mayor in 2022, he continues to influence policy, education and culture through leadership, speaking, and service on state and national advisory groups.
