About Grace Tame

Grace Tame is a survivor of child sexual abuse, a passionate advocate, author, and campaigner for fellow survivors.

As the Founder of The Grace Tame Foundation (GTF), she leads initiatives to prevent and respond to child sexual abuse.

Her memoir, The Ninth Life of a Diamond Miner, became a number one best-seller and was shortlisted for three Australia Book Industry Awards.

Grace, a talented artist and ultramarathon runner, was recognised as the 2021 Australian of the Year for her work in driving legal reforms to empower survivors.

She regularly contributes as a columnist for The Monthly and The Saturday Paper.
