An essential ingredient in any discussion about food and flavour, Maggie Beer AO is an Australian food icon.
From her early years running the renowned Pheasant Farm restaurant to creating the Maggie Beer products , Maggie's career has spanned from farming and food production to television presenting and food writing.
Her numerous television appearances include MasterChef Australia, The Great Australian Bake Off with Matt Moran and The Cook and The Chef.
In 2014 Maggie founded the Maggie Beer Foundation to bring the pleasure of good food life to all, regardless of age and health restrictions. Maggie’s desire for every Australian to have a good food life leads her to work on many levels, with the hope of encouraging everyone young, old and in between, to enjoy quality, seasonal cooking every day.
Maggie Beer was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in 2022 for distinguished service to the tourism and hospitality industries as a cook, restaurateur and author, and to aged welfare.
