About Rachael Casella

Rachael Casella is a beacon of resilience and advocacy in the motherhood community. Her journey began in 2017 with the heartbreaking loss of her daughter, Mackenzie, to Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

Rachael’s determination to save others from the heartbreak led to Mackenzie’s Mission, that now sees the screening of the top three genetic conditions subsidised by Medicare.

Rachael’s aim is to expand that to over 700 conditions.

A voice in Australia for women and children’s health, child loss, grief, IVF education, genetics and post traumatic growth, Rachael is also the author of Mackenzie’s Mission, ambassador for Lumi Health and for the Royal Hospital for Women.
