Rob Hewitt knows the sea in all its beauty and terror.

A former New Zealand Navy diver, he was swept away during a routine dive off Wellington in 2006, sparking a four-day search that ended in a miracle.

Found alive against impossible odds, Rob emerged with a story of survival that is as raw as it is uplifting.

Beyond the ocean, he has navigated the heartbreak of losing a son, the joy of becoming a grandfather, and the everyday highs and lows of being human.

Today, he shares his extraordinary journey to remind us of the fierce resilience within us all.
